Malaysian badminton star and former All England champion, Lee Zii Jia, is gearing up for a return to competitive action following a month-long injury absence. The 26-year-old, who last played in December at the World Tour Finals in Hangzhou where he injured his right ankle, will make his comeback at the Orleans Masters (March 4-9) in France.

Lee plans to use the event as preparation for the prestigious All England Open, scheduled for March 11-16, where he aims to prove his fitness and reclaim top form. The shuttler has been struggling with injuries since the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, much to the disappointment of his Malaysian fans, who missed out on seeing him compete at the Malaysia Open.
Lee has fond memories of the All England, having won the title in 2021 after an epic three-game battle against Viktor Axelsen. Fans are now eagerly awaiting his return to the tournament, hoping for another strong performance.
